It's that time again- back to school shopping (yaaaaaay!!!!) I know this is coming real late, my apologies. I don't believe in totally changing your wardrobe every time a school starts, just taking a few pieces to spice up your basics. Or to stock on the basics if you don't have them already. Here are my picks...

Baseball jackets literally borrowed from the boys

 I like the way masculine/masculine inspired clothing looks on females. I think it accentuates our femininity. Plus, they look really funky. Throw one of these on a dress and voila!

 

Brogues

  Awesome shoes brogues definitely are. They are complement any outfit from a girly dress to slouchy pants. Gotta love them.

Ballet flats

Not just typical ballet flats, the more interesting ones that can dress up any look. On those days one rolls outta bed for classes, one needs a funky ballet flat handy to just throw a dress on. Same basics, different look.

Because of it's versatility, style and comfort, a maxi dress is a must-have. For those days you don't feel solid, go print! (lame pun, I know)

Stripes = classic. They go with everything in your wardrobe. Everything, including prints! I am actually stripe crazy at the moment. Bonus points if you combine two different stripe separates!

They totally complete an outfit and portray whatever you want to portray. plus on lazy days, they literally dress you up. Score!!
