It is often said that art imitates life, and life imitates art. The blank canvas being when we’re born with a clean slate, the medium our environment. The strokes the decisions and impactations we make.

Just like different artists have their individual styles, each one of us artists of life have unique styles of living. I for one celebrate people who have made their lives a master piece.
Just like the beauty of every art form is in the eye of the beholder, the exquisiteness of the artistic merit of the lives lead by different people are held in different levels of esteem.
There’s a certain beauty in the mundane. An art to taking something supposedly ordinary and building a masterpiece out of mere scraps. I appreciate the people who take joy in the simple pleasures of living. The people who understand that it’s not about the gear but about one’s ability to use things at one’s disposal to create something unique. The people who understand the importance of living creatively.
It is easy for people to appreciate renowned art works such as the Mona Lisa and not appreciate upcoming artists due to a lack of awareness. So also, people leading lives without achieving astounding goals and/or fame are left unnoticed and under appreciated. Well, not today.
Today, we recognize and appreciate people living ordinary but extremely interesting and satisfying lives.
Those who take seemingly simple mundane activities and transform them to an art form.
Accolades to the people who live simply but extraordinarily. To those who have goals other than money, power and fame. To those who live intentionally regardless of what society dictates. To those who take a supposedly boring life and turn it into something admirable.
