Wearing| Monochrome Uniform

She saw the world in black and white until experienced proved her wrong. Eventually, she learnt to value the greys.

It seems like all I've been wearing these days have been white tops and black bottoms. At a time in my life, this would have bored me but I've come to appreciate the simplicity.

I once watched a movie in which the heroine wore only black, white and grey. Why? Because she didn't want to have think about how to mix and match colours, things were simply easier that way.

I, however, don't have a problem with mixing colours, I do that quite well in fact. But when things get a little complex in life, less could be more.

I wore this outfit to the cornucopia garden party simply because there was a floral theme and I couldn't lay my hands on anything floral.

I could have gotten a new outfit entirely, yes, but decided not to because I'm currently doing this thing where I get rid of clothes I don't wear in 6 months time. I know that when I shop under pressure, things don't always work out.

Next week, a new post will be up on the blog about styling a limited number of clothes (about 10 pieces) for 2 weeks. Are you excited?

Leave a comment, I'd love to hear from you.

PS: I'll be doing a how-to on stop motion in mid-October so stay tuned.
