Happy New Month everyone!
I'm very excited to see what this new month brings.
First, an update...

Drum roll please! I'm glad to announce that we are now miralabelle.com. I am ecstatic! I planned that by the time Mira La Belle is one, I would do it. We are going to be one on the 18th of this month. Any ideas on how to celebrate? I was tempted to stop many times but my passion and most importantly, you guys, kept me going.

Dear Photography Enthusiast,

My interest in photography started last year. I really don't know how it happened but I've always seen photography as an art. I guess on the things that fascinates me is the capturing of moments. Once you capture a moment, it's gone forever. That moment will never exist again so it has literally been immortalized. I like inanimate objects and most of all, nature.

Dear photography enthusiast,

How art thou? Hopefully you're having a swell time capturing life's moments in photos.
As you know, my love for flowers, plants, and all things nature is eternal. I have not stopped getting odd stares from people as I stoop low or close in to capture things in my surroundings.

I have made a new discovery, one that I'll no doubt obsess with for a while- Taking pictures of flowers at twilight. Yes, I know, nature is best captured when there's enough light to show all the features. Or so I thought. Sure, most pictures taken at this time will be darker, not as sharp and so on. But as is common knowledge, beauty can be found where we least expect it.
Twilight is the time just before nightfall when the daylight has almost gone but when it's not completely dark. That is, it starts after sunset.

So I am very huge fan of Instagram. I must confess, I wasn't very keen on joining (I am weary of social media honestly) but a friend insisted I join. So I checked Instagram out and voila! A world of pictures! Some amazing, some not-so amazing but it was fabulous- a social network all about pictures.

As most of you know, I am somewhat addicted to androidography (android photography) and Instagram feeds my addiction. And I also tend to jump on "trends" a tad too late. But seriously, there so many photographers out there with amazing concepts. Then there's the fashion. Oh the fashion!

I am sure you're like "Whaaaaat??" "Lookit this girl all starry-eyed and babbling about Instagram." Don't worry, this post actually has a point.

Insta-log is a weekly(-ish) blogpost on the pictures I post on Instagram and the history behind them. No really, Instagramers are kinda odd. They write long epistles on life just to post a simple picture. It's nice and all but...it gets tiring after a while.

My posts are on fashion, nature, FLOWERS, the sun and anything that catches my fancy.

To the pictures!

IG Caption: Smile...it's a beautiful day.
This was taken on Sunday. Love, love, love this flower! My mum planted it at the front of our house. It looks strong but it's quite fragile. I have a thing for flowers, don't know what to do about it.

I have a lot of hobbies..."Androidography" recently became one of them. I Just have to share my pictures with you and show you, using pictures, how I see the world.

Flowers are my favourite subjects because there's variety. Some are fragile, some are strong. They come in different shapes, sizes, and colours. One flower can look different when captured from different angles. The colours... Flowers, in my opinion, colour the world.

These flowers will make you believe in Flower Power...

The pictures were taken by me with a Techno H7.

Wishing you a great week ahead!

Your thoughts?

Do you like androidography? Which of the pictures is your favourites? Let me know in the comments.
