Life Adventures: In April

04:33

Hi guys.

It's been a while. I know, an April recap when more than half May is already gone. My Apologies.

Usually, I would just go on like nothing happened and skip this post (and others) to what's on my blog calender. I was really tempted but nah, I'm really enjoying this series so let's get to it.

April was interesting. Interestingly tiring. I was just tired of juggling so much stuff and trying successfully do everything I was supposed to. At a point, I just stopped. I unintentionally took a break and now that i've figured it out, I'm way better.

Funny enough I learnt my lesson through a movie series "Super Girl". Kat Grant taught me that it's easy to juggle stuff. Start small then add some, then some more. The problem was me trying to take on more than I could handle. I haven't completely sorted everything out but I feel it'll work out in time.

Ok, to the more fun stuff...

I had a blogger meet up with Lydia of Lydia's Chronicle! Yes! look who's getting out of the socially awkward zone *insert emoji with cool sunnies*. Blog post coming later as an outfit post of me wearing my dad's shirt (yup! Borrowed from the boys again).

You know I had put a flower in because flower lover (ignore the lame rhyme). This was one of pictures I took whilst undertaking the "Fat Mum Slim photo a day challenge". It was so much fun! I couldn't do every single one because I think I may have consistency issues but you might want to check it out.

And  to whom it may interest (hopefully almost all of you guys), I'm bringing back photography to the blog. I bet some of you didn't know I even had a photography section.

It's going to be taking a different route though, mostly helpful tutorials.

So if you have any questions, suggestions, or specific topics you want me to cover on the photography section, please let me know in the comments. For now I'm thinking basics like simple edits and/or corrections that could really switch up your photos.

So I have been playing around with this app, Sketchbook by Autodesk. Remember my fashion illustration dreams? Well, I really shocked when I could do this with my phone because I had to use my hand. I recommend this app. Helps me explore my creativity.

So I met up with my bestfriend Seyi Adenowo of Nowo ( how cool is the name though?). I would have called it a blogger meet up but we were already friends before we became bloggers.

We had a loooong chat over cold stone and Pizza. The Coldstone icecream though. *Sighs happily* I should be an ambassador what with the way I mention them a lot on this blog.

No, really if you know someone that could connect me though...

The Evidence... Seriously, hook me up.

So if you're wondering why I'm so upbeat, my exams are basically over. Yes, there were momentsof panic. Yes, it's part of the reason I took an unexpected break and so on.

Glad to be back though, I missed you guys so much <3

Cheers!
