What I Wore: Vintage Shirt + Oversized Blazer

03:58

Hey people! How has your week been going? Mine has been eventful (will gist you later).

Remeber this shirt from the last outfit post? This time, I decided to dress it up in some retro funky yet classic way. I wore the shirt as a dress (because it's oversized :) ) and added a wine blazer to keep thigns classic. I will be trying out more classic looks ( I can see my mum rejoicing while reading this) and putting my own funky spin on them.

Remember these shoes I wore in A Touch Of Gingham? I wanted to wear my black heels but look how the colours match. I did a lot of colour play here. Purple, wine, grey, pink, and print. I applied the colour outfit coordination formulas we learnt in the last post.

OUTFIT DETAILS:

Blazer: Worthington

Shirt: Hatico

Shoes: Atmosphere

I have no idea what the brand of lipstick is. It is a lipstain though. The writing cleaned off a while back *shrugs*

The stockings are knee-highs but I folded them for a slouchy look.I feel it looks better and elongates my legs.

YOUR TURN!

Would you wear this outfit? How would you put your spin? How have you worn your vintage shirt? Leave a link, let me know in the comments, I'd love to hear from you.

    2. Really? I like the socks the most. Thanks all the same Lara.

Thanks Pat. Although, I'm confused... you don't like the socks because it's too long... or folded?

  4. Love the vintage shirt and blazer pairing! I can probably never find one that will be that long on me (Tall girl problems) so I'll probably wear this outfit but with my shirt tucked into shorts or a pencil skirt and without the socks or if anything - a shorter one/ankle ish

I'm wearing the exact same socks (though mine has a little bow) right now (to sleep. Lol)

    1. Awww it has a bow. So cute! Yea I wanted to wear ankle socks but I decide to be bold (I do wear socks out from time to time). A long blazer would look fabulous with shorts. I'd have to try that!

As for the blazer, don't give the search. One day one day...
